Naval Crow Wings

I think I posted this a good while back but wondered if any of our new members might be able to give me a little insight on them. I was originally told that they predated WW2 and were civilian wings. Now one of my good friends is retired from the navy and said they look like old crow naval wings. Also, at the time I posted them, Papay was in and out and Greg had recently gotten the website back up. Any input will be appreciated.

These were found in the town of Commerce on land that coincedently adjoins Maj. Gen. Claire Chennault's birthplace here.

One of the local's here tell's me that they are old crow wings used in WWII. He is retired Navy and say's they may have been made prior to WWII but they look just like the one's used during his service time....PAPPY
