Default Handle

GREG, It appears to be a (Universal) handle that would have been made to serve on several different kitchen utinsils. Usually used on utinsils that would have been used on top of the old wood burning stoves. Made around the mid 30's....PAPPY

Default The ones I have seen like that were for a fence.

A spike finial for a flat wrought iron fence. Only the ones I seen are a little fancier. Kings Ornamental Metal in Dallas has some similiar to that. I do a lot of business with them and saw then in their catalog before.. Here is their web site url http://www.kingmetals.com/ They may have it online. I think you can click the shop products link and go there. Bo Pilgrim had had a few similiar to this made by Henderson Metal over in Pittsburg Texas as well. They were on one of his bannisters. The only difference is the flat pointy end is twisted into a coil sorta.
