civil war relic or trash?
Another question for you PAPPY. I found this a trench where the solders would stand to fire behind the mound. It was 2' 4" deep! Any idea if it is trash or a relic.

Extremely hard to identify a piece when it is that condition. The hole in the item...does it appear to be from rust or does it appear that it was made into the item? PAPPY
