Hi again Pappy,
I was thinking a stamp was possible myself, but the building and lettering are recessed into the face of the item. When pressed against something soft it would leave the image raised above the surface of the material pressed. On the opposite side the image could not touch the paper. Its kinda strange....... I bow to your greater wisdom HJ |

what gives it away that it is indeed a stamp is that the lettering is backwards so when pressed on said object . mirror image is made ..
just my opinion . cool find though
