My first cool metal detector find- swiss coin -value?
got my first cool find and was wondering the value of it is. It is dated 1959 and looks like this.
 I borrowed the pic as my scanner is not hooked up yet. ANy help greatly appreciated . Thanks:)

Coin
The coin you have pictured does not appear in my Catalog of World Coins under Swiss coinage. What exactly does the inscription say on the coin? Are you absolutely sure it is a swiss coin? PAPPY

Coin
I located the coin and it is indeed a coin from CONFOED, HELVETICA in SWITZERLAND. It is a 5 RAPPEN and composed of COPPER-NICKEL. It should be a 1959B and there were 11,086 minted. In Fine condition the coin should be worth (ABP) $.10 The coin was last minted in 1980.
