civil war something ???????
Hi Pappy,
I tell my self every day on the way home I'm not going to detect and get my chores done so that I have the whole weekend to detect. Then when I get home I tell myself just 1/2 hour. This is what I found this evening. I'm sure it is civil war but not sure what exactly it is??????? Any help or even a web site that might steer me in the right direction. Thanks Miss John

I am pretty sure it's a pompon holder and is most likely CW period. Very nice find!

I wondered about that too Pappy. What threw me off was that the eagle would be upside down if on a flag staff! Glad I'm not the one people come too! LOL!!! Pappy's the man!!
