I am not sure what the records are worth but I would like to find the Recorder so I could record newer songs on 78's and play em on my old Victrola.

Hi guys.
Have any of them been recorded onto? The one in the pic looks blank (no small grooves). I'm not an expert, but I don't think the old 78's have incredibly high value unless they are in excellent condition. I'm sure Pappy will be able to give you more info. Thanks for the pic..an interesting piece of history. Audio has certainly come a long way.

Thanks Ed,
Yes, they all have the small grooves.
I just noticed on the one that it says "Best of the old hits"

Do you happen to know the artists on them, I have been collecting 78's for a few years now and some of the later 78's from the late 50's and early 60's can be worth quite a bit.

Default Master Records

The "METAL MASTER" Records you have are the one's that the Vinyl records were PRESSED from. They were recorded on metal and then transfered to the vinyl ones. "MASTER COPIES"
