Default paperweight?

paperweight-bill.jpgdear pappy, i was wondering about this item. i found it a while back, i was going to prove to a newbie that it was going to be a squashed soda or beer can. rang as a dollar on the detector. it was about 12 in. deep and upside down. it looked like a big washer. i was pleasantly suprised by what i found. can you identify it, or have more knowledge about it. age , value , thanx p.s. about 3 3/4 in. and weighs approx. 14 1/2 oz.

Default Commander's Hat

It is a BRONZE COMMANDER'S HAT (Paperweight) from the WWII period. These were also used by DI'S (Drill Instructors) in WWII on their desk's as paperweights. Nice Find. Should fetch around $25.00-$40.00 on the market...PAPPY
