Pappy, i found a token from the palmolive-feet (or peet ) co.chicago, with a pat #p-1009,on one side , other side says " good for one cake Palmolive soap free when you buy one cake. It;s about the size of a half dollar (copper ,i think) front also says " dealers, this check will be redeemed at your retail price only when conditions on the reverse side have been complied with ." any ideas ? i

DAVE, I am most sure that your token will be from the 1950's. I am pretty sure that is when they gave the tokens at the Grocery Stores and as promotional items.
