Can anybody ID these pliers?

Hello Pappy or anyone out there tell me what these pliers were used for ? thanks for any ideas...... they have Bluebird No. 20 on the handle ...Jack

i think its for opening up battery terminal. on older car batteries were your pos. and neg. posts are this would open the terminal on the end of the cables.

bigjohn is right. I have a pair in my garage.

JACK, They are for opening up battery terminals and the ridges on the outside are for cleaning the inside of the terminals then you can use the pliers for closing the terminals back around your battery posts...PAPPY
