Default Bayonet

First of all I need to know the length of the bayonet...It was made in two different lengths. The length will determine if it was from WWI or WWII.

The Lebel M-1866 is notable since it is the first military rifle to use both smokeless powder and a small caliber bullet.
The rifle itself is known as Fusild' Infanterie Mle.
The Lebel M-1886 was an 8mm weighing 4.28kg with a tubular magazine and is worth about $1,500.00-$1,800.00 on todays market in Very Good Condition.
The Lebel M-1886 is essentially a Mle 1885 modified.
It was essentially obsolete WELL BEFORE WWI but remained in service with the French until the end of WWII in limited numbers.

Default Bayonet

Your's would be considered the short bayonet from WWII.

The WWI bayonet measured 17 1/2".

The WWII Bayonet is valued at around $150.00 while the WWI is valued at around $200.00-$300.00 depending on it condition.
