Pappy...

Found this Trinket at the beach today...It was buried about 3" down and when I first saw it, I thought it was a short piece of copper tubing...

Its 2 5/8" total length...1/2" round (OD)...What looks like a projectile/bullet head (right of picture) is separate from the main body...

To the left, the knurled knob looks like brass and is also separate from the main body...

In the center, that small round or oval shaped jobber is soft rubber...

It appears to be solid in weight...and has no identifying marks that I can see...Possibly some writing, but very hard to de-cypher...

Have any ideas as to what this object might be...?

Thanks...

Boobird...

First of all..have you tried to open it? It has a ribbed top and appears that you can possibly open it. I'll do a little research and see if I can help you identify it. It does not appear to be a projectile of any type....

No Pappy, I sure didn't try to open it yet, but I was thinking maybe squirt a little WD40 on it and let it soak for awhile...I am curious to see whats inside of it, and I appreciate you helping me out with this one..Thanks again...
