Default Used Detectors

DAVE, I have a standing opinion concerning used detectors and it the same as buying a used car....You may be buying someone elses trouble.
It appears that this site deals in several popular brands of detectors...I just have never cared about buying a used detector without some sort of Warranty.
I would imagine that our Sponsors could tell you more than I possibly could.

I too have seen some "harmless spirited forum debates" deleted at will by moderators at Findmall. I had one deleted, complained to the "Guvner" and his response was (not verbatim) that no one's posts are ever deleted on purpose, must have been a mistake.

OK, Guv

A member here placed a TQ link to one of his posts (wanted to show them his pictures) over there and he deleted it and jumped all over that poor soul. The Gov said the reason he deleted the TQ link is because I used to date his daughter and was mean. It was something in that order hard for me to remember. To sum it up, don't know the gov and never dated his daughter

There was a thread going on the F75 over there I was following last Fall. The "moderator" (also a sponsor) you referred to made some comments on the subject. The comments (facts LOL) were wrong and he was made to start to look foolish. Next thing you know the thread was "missing" . Someone asked where it went and the response from the moderator was "Sometimes these things happen and threads get deleted by mistake.
Same moderator had a sticky up for a product from his business. Another sponsor added a sticky for his product. The second sponsor found his sticky missing from the spot above the others. (two different products). He asked the moderator/sponsor what happened and was told that sticky's were only to be up for a weeks time. Funny how the moderators/sponsors sticky was still up after 6 weeks and was still there that day.
Glad we have this place .
Thanks Greg for letting me a part of it.
