Default Little Bird Hickey!!!

Pappy...I pulled this out of an old dried up Dam this morning. What the hek is it??? I thought that it was a stein top but it has two holes on the side shaped like a half moon. The bird is Iron I believe. I need Mike to join in searching this spot. Its back in the woods and there used to be 7 old homes in there...I dont think it was ever hit....There are even hundreds of old bottles....

Default Is it, or...could it be...

My first thought was a tea pot whistle because of the two half moon slits on the side and the size (they had some rather large pots years ago).
