Default Gold From India

Dumb Question: I collect Necklaces and aquired about 5 nice Gold neckchains from India, some 14k and some 24k....

I just got back frm Grocery shopping when my kid asked me to put 50 cents into a gumball machine that had kiddie neckchains. I did but to my surprize
the neckchain she got says India on it and I freaked out.....

Oh please Pappy tell me its just a coincidence.....

Is Gold chains from India Junk?? not trying to be dumb ok??

Default GOLD ?

Are the items you purchased stamped 14k or 24k anywhere or just India? Can you provide a photo or some information as to where you purchased your items? I hate to be the bearer of Bad news but there is PLENTY of BAD gold out there. ...PAPPY :D :D :D

Default GOLD?

Beefcarver, NO question is Dumb. Just the ones that are unasked. Your Gold may be good. We just need to do a little research on it to tell. If all else fails you can take your items to a jewelry store and have them look at it for you.....PAPPY :D :D :D

Default INDIA GOLD

Beefcarver, I think your gold is good but if you think you need to check it take it to the jewelry store and have them look at it, they can run a simple test and let you know right away. I think you will be alright with what you have......PAPPY :D :D :D
