GREG!!!!!! I staked that claim!!!... :D No road trips for Greg and Pappy without me!!!! LOL I am not sayin much but I was told today that it is eaither a fluke or just dumb luck..That Milky rock has a little gold in it.....WOOHOO!!! 8) Just a very minute amount though. Now I really need to figure out this Prospecting mode with the MXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets go Greg-Mike and Pappy!!

claim jumpers
Hey Greg & Pappy,
Rob told me where he found the gold and for a small cut of your finds, say 85%, I will let you know the location. LOL. Of course, you both know that you can be shot for claim jumping if you get caught. And from what I have seen of the animals hanging on the wall, Rob is a pretty good shot...LOL Mike

WELL ROB, I got with one of my friends (REAL OLD TIMER) and he says that he has seen one of these before (I HAVE NOT) and that it is indeed a miners (Prospectors) badge. The best we can figure out is the following:
The badge dates approx. from 1895-1902 "RALSTON"......Mines name (STILL RESEARCHING) "STRAIT SHOOTERS".....Name of miners association FINE GOLD ORE FROM AMERICAS CRESENT DISTRICT....Name of gold district in your area (STILL ALSO RESEARCHING) Will let you know as soon as I can concerning the areas still being researched......PAPPY :D :D :D SURE WOULD LIKE TO SEE A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE BUTTONS YOU LOCATED ALSO....PAPPY :D :D :D HAVE YOU TRIED CLEANING THE BADGE ANYMORE????
