Default Prospector Badge????

pappy...Here is one that stumps me. I found this badge type thing today that looks like it has a built in Coin hoilder on the front. But when I got her home. I noticed some writing stamped on the back with a logo. It is hard to make out but Ill explain. There are five lines of words. Ill try each line for you.
1. "RALSTON"
2. "Strait Shooters"
3. ????Gold Ore
4."From America's"
5."?RES??? District?
Diamond Logo with the letter M in it. A diagonal line running along the top of the M

Pappy,
I found it only 5 inches deep along a big wash type area just below the Ohiopyle Falls in Ohiopyle...I also found a few old Military buttons. My Fiance thinks that I am nuts but I pulled a golf ball size white jagged rock from the same area. For some reason, my detector is saying that there is metal in it...There is a small line that looks like gold running through it???? Is that possible?

Default could be gold

Hey Rob,
Sounds like you have been busy. The white rock you found may be quartz. A lot of gold is found within and around quartz. You may have stumbled onto something.
I just bought a DFX from Kellyco. It came yesterday and I have been reading the manuel to get an idea of how it works. Can't wait to get it out into the field.
Mike

ROB, YOU MAY BE ON TO SOMETHING. ALWAYS a quartz vein around GOLD. That's how prospectors used to find the vein. YOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK THAT OUT!!!......A lot of prospectors had military buttons on their clothing too....PAPPY :D :D :D

ROB, Gold is found in quartz. The piece you found probably contains gold if your detector says so and you can see what looks like Gold. I would really really check this spot out GOOD. You said it was along a WASH...Check that wash really good too.......PAPPY :D :D :D
