Default Help with Tokens...Pappy-Greg and Mike??

Ok guys. I found my very first tokens today. They were both laying right with each other. I have no idea of hwo old or if there is any value to them at all. Any Idea's. They are from Belle Vernon Pa. I found them in Ohiopyle about 5 inches deep.

Ps: Do any of you guys know anyone who buys depression glass?? I just picked up a 13" Cherry Blossum Tray in perfect shape....I dont have a book and dont know the value either...Thanks.

Nice Tokens Rob, Pappy may have a book on tokens.
I would like to see your depression glass, maybe make a trade for coins or something. I don't know the value on it though. Send me a pic.

Default TOKENS

Rob, I am not familiar with this Trust Company however, These are called percentage/incentive tokens that banks used to give to customers and to citizens in town to get them to open a Savings Accout. They were issued during the Early 1900's. If you kept the money in the bank for a period of at least One Year you would earn 4% interest on your money in the bank. The $210,000.00 is the amount the bank was backed for....Hope this helped a little...Might want to check around Belle Vernon PA. for some more information on the bank.....PAPPY :D :D :D

Thanks Ole Pappy!!! I went back to the same spot today to dig a bunch of Pennies that I passed up the day I got the tokens. My third penny was an awesome pick. I dug up a really nice 1909 VDB...Not an S on it though!!!!!!!!! The rest under that ole tree were all wheats from 1909-1928. 11 coins in all.
