AutoMax Pinpointer The Automax Pinpointer with the New V4 super vibrator and fine tuning sensitivity controls. The manufacturer has re-engineered their Best Selling Pin Pointer/Probe and made it even more sensitive by incorporating a New Computer Designed Super V4 Vibrator. Because the target detection is captured and then signaled by this V4 series vibrator, the sensitivity has increased to allow easier detection of smaller targets including gold nuggets & coins on edge.

Default Automax V2

I use the Automax V2 and like it better than the more compact pinpointers. For one thing the probe is 8-1/2" long which makes it very easy to search smaller and deeper holes. I have used the White's but like this better.

A couple points though:
(1) Don't use the plastic probe end as a digging tool as it can break.
(2) I taped my X70 TID sample values on the back. Easy to check.

Nice looking probe. I like the idea of the TID chart on the back. I used to keep mine in my wallet, Beale.

i've heard good things about that probe. that is a good idea to put the different values on the back, never thought of that.
