| AutoMax Pinpointer The Automax Pinpointer with the New V4 super vibrator and fine tuning sensitivity controls. The manufacturer has re-engineered their Best Selling Pin Pointer/Probe and made it even more sensitive by incorporating a New Computer Designed Super V4 Vibrator. Automax V2
I use the Automax V2 and like it better than the more compact pinpointers. For one thing the probe is 8-1/2" long which makes it very easy to search smaller and deeper holes. I have used the White's but like this better.
A couple points though: (1) Don't use the plastic probe end as a digging tool as it can break. (2) I taped my X70 TID sample values on the back. Easy to check.

Nice looking probe. I like the idea of the TID chart on the back. I used to keep mine in my wallet, Beale.

i've heard good things about that probe. that is a good idea to put the different values on the back, never thought of that.

I had that probe at first than I bought the vibra phone 570.
I gave the automax to my wife but now that my vibraphone is being repaired, im on vacation next week and Ill be using my wifes automax..
