We went to the lake to do some water detecting today. But we couldn't find a ranger to get permission so we just did the sandy beach. All I found were about 20 tons of hot rocks and one broken child's ring with a small stone in it. But we tried, and tomorrow is another day. |

i had the same day. worked a old stone fence line for 3 hours and nothing but .22 brass and other modern shells. oh an plenty of snakes sunny themselfs on the rocks.

At least you got out. Beaches here are being swamped by people this week. Kids are on vacation from school and families flock to the beach for the week. I hope to get out the day after Easter and find whatever they left behind.
