Finds in Tampa Bay Today
Went MDing on the beach today in the RAIN. Wrapped a ziplock around my control panel and was good to go in the Florida Rain - still raining hard now! Found a toy car, some clad, and some metal pieces. The one "nugget" looking piece was registering as Silver on my ACE250 with a nice signal and since this was my first beach hunt I'm not sure if it's a piece of junk or what, any help? Is it common to find so much smoothed out metal like that. Thanks.

Probably aluminum. I find a lot of it like that. Some times it has been melted in a BBQ fire and sometimes foil gets balled up and thrown into the water. It gets ground up by the waves and comes out like that.
I like the car though!
