Surf Looter, you inspire me (I live on Long Island) - even though I've never gone beach detecting yet.

I gotta know what you do with all those sinkers! Do you stop off at a bait shop on the way home and just go "here..." ?

I find it kinda funny that you found the starfish on the beach. Start breeding those little guys. Nice haul. I also want to know what you do with the weights. I would be tempted to save them up and then start making lead bars or something. Even better...make the bars then paint them gold.

Very nice haul you got there. We here on the east coast of FL have had the some type of surf for the last week.. One of the beaches in the area has lost over 10 feet to sand.. My wife and I will be going there to detect on Sunday... Hope all the other beach Mder's leave some stuff unfound. I just got a new water machine,,(excal 1000) I am very excited to get out at low tide and look for loot.... Congrats on the finds again, well done.

Tom
