Two TQ members meet on FL Beach
Got a PM the other day from one of the TQ members that was coming down to FL... she told me she was going to be in the Daytona Beach area. So we made plans to go Mding on the Beach. Julieburger and her husband Lee, my wife Rhonda and I all met at New Smyrna Beach just south of Daytona. The tide was high but we still gave it a go....As you will see the surf was very rough. The treasures are still out there. We only found 1 Quarter and a penny. My wife found the penny and everytime she located it anothe wave would come in and move it. On the third try she scooped it up. After a good time of playing on the beach we went to dinner....dinner was filled with great conversation , but I think the mosquitos that joined us at dinner used us for a snack. Julie and Lee are very nice people. Alway nice to meet the people you talk to on the forum. Lee took some pictures of the three mder's drowning the coils in the Atlantic...

Wow that was special. Glad to see you all together having a good time on the beach. I've never been to a real ocean beach...I bet it's beautiful indeed.

New Smyrna Beach
Great to meet up with other detectorists.
I remember the pics. I spent 1 week last January right in New Smyrna Beach, and found a indian head penny by the water line! and 2 Mercury dimes at Daytona Beach. HH Ken
