Default Chased off by Storm

I finally got out on the beach for a little while with the new Excalibur. I was only able to get in about an hour before a big thunder head came rolling in. I saw it coming so I stayed close to the parking lot. I searched the volleyball courts. Found several pull tabs some bottle caps a rusty bobby pin a stainless "S" hook 1 penny and 4 quarters. I was digging everything just to get the fell of how this machine talks. I know there is still a lot of learning but I am already liking it. A little time at the beach beats no time at the beach
By the way this was Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota Florida. Now for the long ride home.

Good luck when you get out there in the water.
Let us know how you like the machine.

It takes a little while to understand what the machine is telling you but you can be pretty confident about most of the tones, most of the time.

According to the people at Minelab, your 8" coil will be more sensitive to smaller gold. I run a 10" and it definitely does not detect small gold as well as the 8". I have run both.

Enioy it and tune your ear! Good luck!
