Default Had to pass on the hunt for the platinum band today.

I stopped by Horseshoe Bay tonight on the way home from work and the Rip Tide Warning sign was still up so I decided to wait until the danger level had dropped before I continued the search. It's only a ring after all and I'm not risking my neck for a ring, well not too much anyways.
I got home with an hour to kill before my Princess had dinner ready so I tried a relaxing hunt at my beach which is hunted out by none other than myself. A great beach with high quality loot but hunted out because it is so convenient to hunt, just walk down the path to my private beach that I share with a hotel and start hunting.
I'm using a silent search technique at the moment and it works great. After half an hour I dug a faint gold signal and found this lovely unit between 18" and 24" deep. 18k White Gold with Yellow Gold Inlay, nice and heavy.

Default What can I say Carl? The Gold Calls to Me.

All I do is answer the call.

I'm lucky to live and work on the island of Bermuda where the tourists leave me presents, unintentionally. I return what I can but most lose it and leave at the end of their vacation making returns almost impossible. I did manage one return so far this year, hoping for number two if I can locate this frickin' platinum band.

Try reading thegoldenolde.com if you haven't already, great information from a truly great beach hunter. RIP

Cheers,

BDA

Well I am happy that someone here has the golden touch. I won't move to Florida until winter and I can only hope that I stumble across the right spot. Good for you and please keep us posted on the platinum band..lets hope someone else detecting didn't find it

Default You know jobs in Bermuda, Boobie!

Sometimes I think it's never going to end but I'm on track for substantial completion by Xmas. I had to do some serious redesign to the A/C borehole and ground water system, so the project is delayed 2 months. Now I just have to get the money from the mech. eng. for the fouled up design that we had to correct on site.
After this job I'm thinking about doing a stint in the Caribbean.
How's the Missus?

Great find, BDA!!! Looks like from the inscription that the guy planned on having it for Eternity. Too bad you can't return them all, huh? I know that must feel really nice.

Boobie! Great news from you . I'm so happy to hear that your wife is doing better and that you're treatable. I'm sure it's a HUGE sigh of relief.

Default You are a Prince Among Men, Boobie!

The Princess and I wish you and your lady penty of health and happiness. If I don't do another hotel in Bermuda after this one is finished I'll probably head south to a huge project in the Caribbean.

Be Well,

BDA
