I hit Horseshoe Bay on my way into work yesterday morning but it was sanded in pretty bad, no tickets. I spoke with the young lifeguards on the way back to my car and they were no help with tracking down the previous owners of the 2 class rings I found a week or so ago.
It's been more work and less play for this pirate lately so before I continued on to the jobsite I stopped at Warwick Long Bay for a quick spin. I had just started swing the coil when a Rasta Man starts waving frantically at me from the beach so I head back towards the beach to find out what he wants. It was really rough at Long Bay and a rogue wave swept up behind me and carried me as fast as I could run up the steep slope and deposited me neatly at the feet of the Rasta Man. It turns out he lost his silver, Lion of Judah, wedding ring at this beach a week ago and he has been coming back everyday to see if Jah has made the ocean give it back. Apparently, Jah is busy with more important matters so he sent Bdahunter to help instead.

Benson (the Rastafarian) told me he really needs the ring back soon because his wife is coming from Africa soon and he needs to have that ring on his finger. (Benson didn't tell me which number wife it was but I got the impression it might be number 3 or 4, he left his contact info on my windshield along with some unused tickets to a local tourist attraction that he felt 'might' get me free admission, Jah willing) The area Benson lost the ring was a boiling sea, 6 ft. deep so I'll have to try later. It was so rough at Warwick Long Bay that I had to duck into a sheltered swimming hole called Jobson's Cove and that's where I found an extra, large 14k gold band. An American quarter fits neatly into the ring so the guy who lost this one must have fingers like sausages!

By this time I had to hurry on to work and check on my men but it was nice to get out for a change.
One Love,
BDA
