Default 3 gold found, 1 returned

As soon as I got to the beach today, a guy approached me in a panic. He had just lost one of his earrings. It was a 14 Karat white and yellow gold 'W' while playing with his son by the water's edge. I passed the remaining one under my coil and set out looking for it. There were quite a few people looking to see if I would find it. About 5 minutes into the hunt, I heard the familiar sound and out came the earring. He was very happy and offered me all sorts of rewards but I just told him it wasn't necessary and started my hunting. Quite a few people were surprised to see that I was able to pull it out of the sand.

The hunt after that was pretty slow. Pennies and more pennies. But then I heard that sound again and pulled out a 14 karat ring. 45 minutes later, the religious medal came out. A sign? A reward?!?!?!

Call it a reward, karma, golden rule...whatever; I firmly believe that good things return to people who do good to others. WTG!

I would definitely say it was a sign. God talks to us if we listen. Congrats on your finds.

Sort of a theme here today. Help someone at the beach who's lost an important/valuable item, get a gold religious item in return (see Boobie's post).
