Default My finds are shrinking!

Hurricane Felix is over 700 miles away but there was BIG surf at my normally calm beach. I was getting knocked around by the waves when I decided to move to an area that had protective reefs near by. Even then, I got thrown a couple times.

Look what the waves did to this ring! I am certain it was a huge ring at one point! I thought maybe I should throw it back so that it would grow some more! This is the tiniest ring I have found yet!

I remarked to my father yesterday that I was shocked to see so many young kids, most of them less than 5 years old, wearing major gold necklaces and medallions. I spoke with one of the natives and he said that many people believe that you need to be wearing something religious in case something terrible happens at the beach. Maybe that explains why the kids (and their parents and grandparents) wear their gold to the beach. I guess I am ok with that!

In any case, I walked away with Lilliputian's ring. 14 Karat. The VL must stand for 'Very Little'.

Its always good to find gold.

That is the cutest ring! You might want to put it on a gold chain and wear it as a necklace , to protect you from those powerful waves.
