First time on the beach
Hit the beach with my MD for the first time a few weeks ago. I only got a couple of 1 hr sessions in and stuck to dry sand. My BH SSII started going nuts when I got into the wet sand and I did not have the time to experiment with adjustments. Did not find anything too exciting.....
39 cents 4 C batteries strap buckle caps and tabs fishing weight nails wire foil assault tank The nails were all in the volleyball area and the change was near the beach entrance. It was nice digging in the sand as opposed to hard pack, although I did not have a proper scoop. Hope to hunt the beach again soon. Need to find that jewelry to finance some upgrades. Steve in PR has me thinking with his ring hoard  HH-

Just a matter of time before you start finding the goods. That area near the water is going to be important, especially after a storm, so try to find some time to play with the settings, if you can and good luck1

I'm sure you'll start finding those rings soon. I made a 1'x1' sand sifter out of 1"x4"s and 1/2" hardware cloth that works good for me in wet or dry sand.My BH works better in the dry sand rather than the wet, but if I reduce the sensitivity and set up the discrimination some it works pretty good in the wet sand.Like you said though, you'll have to experiment.
