Talking Great day at the beach!!!

New stated that a local reservoir (which is located about 45 minutes from me ) is at the lowest it has ever been in its history. My first thought, have to check this out. When I arrived it was low, infact I now saw a what was once a treeline, and stone foundations. This was turn of the century stuff. I hunted for a about 3 hrs. There was a ton or area to cover and I'm going to try and get back there.

Now here is what I found, (I'll try and get some pics on)
1 copper( at least I think it is)padlock in excellent condition.
1 Sterling silver pocketwatch, face missing, otherwise it looks good.
1 IH 1906 decent shape
1 ring, it appears to have copper color, I'm going to try and polish it up and see.
1 Piece of advertising for Phillips Milk of Magnesia (not sure what it was but looks like a bookmark or maybe a letter opener. Great lettering on it.
1 Bowl of a clay pipe sitting on top of the sand.

I am going to try and get back there. I think there is a ton of stuff, and I didn''t even scratch the surface.

I would have taken off next week and hunted the entire time.

I hope you make it back.

Hunt it while you can because hopefully the rain will come again soon.
