Default new screensaver

i don’t know if i will be able to get out to do any detecting for the next few days. I brought my mother over here (yesterday) to spend some time with us (she will be here through sunday). My mom has dementia + dad could use some time alone to just take it easy + relax. So, i will be watching to see how all of you looters do.
this will also give me time to make up my mind on which waders i will buy + i will get them ordered.
I made a new screensaver to keep me stoked while i wait for #10

ps - my mother went grocery shopping with dad + lost her diamond wedding ring - probably in the produce. Years ago, when lorraine (my wife) was shopping, a woman came into the supermarket produce section + started frantically looking for her diamond ring that she believed she had lost in the produce. The moral of the story is that if you are going to work in a supermarket - do so in the produce section!

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!

Have a great visit with your mom, sorry to hear about the dementia, it's a rough thing for the family.

Whenever I go into the grocery store all I think about is getting out. I'll have to start looking for "treasure" there and maybe it won't be so bad .

I am a dementia specialist and just a few hints don't correct your Mom. Go where she is and enjoy her. and remember the best lessons in life are learned at the foot of an elderly person. I have a program called dementia dialogs and if you are interest. Pm me your address and I will sent you some great information. have fun and hugs to Mom.

Gordiesgirl,
i am very caring about dealing with mom + making her feel as normal a person as anyone else is.
we keep her engaged but are careful not to overdo anything as she is also 86
her dementia is not severe - but her short term memory is what is especially lacking
she is my mother - i do not correct my mother
i very much appreciate your concern + would love your info - thanks so much
i do not know how to pm so my email is donlor@hotmail.com

Enjoy your time with your mom. Get some rest and maybe do some research?

I really like the screensaver, Beale.
