Default pixie humor

it is a strange thing - but then again our human takes some very peculiar forms also.
Had to get back into the water after seeing John’s post - YIKES!
Was mildly complaining to the pixies on my way to brooklyn (if they were listening) about not getting anything for a while. Since i only had a very limited amount of time + low tide was 2hrs. earlier - my expectations were not high. But, within the first 10min i found something the pixies deposited in my scoop - a RING! Since nobody else was in the water i looked for markings - none at all - SIGH. The ring felt heavy (it weighed in at 15.6g) but i did not spend more time on it as i had only about an hour to be in the water. When i got into the car i looked at it again (hoping i had missed some markings) but none were to be found. But, i did notice something peculiar - that the ring had been sized. Hmmm - well, that spoke of some promise. When i got home i tested it. The ring is silver and the initials + stars are 14k. Well, that is surely better than a junker - but why did the pixies put such a hybrid ring into my scoop?

I do not have the answer to your question. I will say that is a great ring, congrats, Beale.

I value it as I have not found a good ring yet. I know I said "A ring is a ring". I stand by that, but I would love to find 1 nice ring. I also know if I keep looking it will happen, Beale.
