Great way to start off the New Year, congratulations on the great finds
If it was the rocks in the second picture that you had to push out of the way to get to the plat ring, I don't want to get on your bad side .Are they bullets in the last picture? If so, what's up with the shooting at a beach?

You guessed it, Mate! My nickname for Horseshoe Bay is 'Bullet Beach' as it was used as a rifle range by the Bermuda Regiment in WWI & WWII. I've found everything from full metal jackets, to 3 ringers to an unexploded mortar round there. I've also found a lot of gold there as this is the most popular beach in Bermuda. The horseshoe shape helps to keep the pink sand from escaping with the loot when a hurricane blows through.
Cheers, BDA ![]() |
