Default I Managed to Patch Up My Camera

Frustrated with the lack of support from Olympus I took matters into my own hand and cleaned up the contacts for the card reader in my camera with electronic cleaner. The camera has come back to life at least for the short term.
Here's a pic of the loot I've managed since the camera packed it in a week ago.
1 - 14k Men's Wedding Band
1 - 10k? Signet Ring (broken)
1 - 925 Silver Surfer Ring
A NATO live round, a SS Speargun Tip and a Junker Ring (my 1st in months)

Cheers,

BDA

Good for you for patching up your camera! Sucks that you had to, but I find that doods have innate abilities to make things work long after they should... at least my dood does. And that silver "surfer" ring is way cool. I have two thumb rings similar to that, but those markings are way cool... and while it isn't anything sparkly, I like it none-the-less

Glad to SEE your finds again, hope Olympus takes care of you!!

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!

It's only a matter of time before it fails again, Rip. I can see where the saltwater got into the main housing so eventually it will be eaten by the salt from the inside out. Terrific, I have an underwater camera that I can't take into the water and the memory card is completely fried.

Cheers,

BDA

I'm heading out in an hour for a hunt, we'll have to see what's in the offing?

Ok, I'm moving to somewhere tropical, getting my dive cert., and heading out to the beach. You've convinced me.
