Default Just Messing Around at My Beach Today

After the last couple of water hunts my arthritis was kicking up again so I decided to pass on the low tide today. It had been raining and blowing since last night as the latest cold front moves through and I just wasn't feeling up to it today. Late this afternoon the sun started to shine and I decided I had to do something with myself so I wandered down to my beach with the Yeller Feller and a garden trowel. I wasn't really hunting just messing around and catching some rays to warm my bones a bit.

The tractor guy was out grooming the beach so that added some excitement as I had to keep dodging the tractor as he moved in to tidy up my holes, the holes were well covered but this guy is a bit of a perfectionist. He likes nice clean rake lines on the beach when he's done and my smooth pock marks just wouldn't do on his perfect beach.

I was asked to look for a surveryors pin by a neighbour on the beach so I took a look but no luck, there was a chainlink fence with galvanized post where he figured the pin was.
I managed a little over $2 in clad, a hotel key and a mood ring, so not terrible for just messing around. A little digging and some sunshine was good for my aching bones so I'll be back in the water tomorrow for a Real Hunt!

Cheers,

BDA

Hey, I always wave to him when he's cutting through my driveway to get to work and I never try to run him down with my Jeep. The Guy Loves Me! He always smiles but doesn't speak so good English, just a perfectionist and he gets paid by the hour so No Hay Problema.

Cheers,

BDA

Hey BDA that looks like a nice day to me! That beach sure looks different than what I am used to. Great looking sand, Beale.
