That's some nice stuff, indeed. Now, the only puzzling thing is why someone would travel with a Sacquajewea coin??!!??

It's not running at the moment but I think it just needs a new battery. It's only a Timex but it is waterproof to 100' and there is no moisture inside the face. August 23, 2007 was the most recent 23rd of the month to be a Thursday so this watch has been in the water at least that long, probably just a dead battery.

Cheers,

BDA

I agree, Miss Pris. The $1 U.S. coin is an uncommon find in the States so finding one in Bermuda is positively rare. It was one of the items on my 'To Find' list but I wasn't optimistic about finding one. To make matters more interesting, it was a dry sand find on the trail leading down to the beach from the parking area. If the watch works that will be another item checked off of my 'To Find' list as all of my previous watches have been broken. I was drysanding and wet sanding yesterday only as a test of the repairs to my Excal coil, so I was doubly lucky.

Cheers,

BDA
