Default The Pirate Apprentice's 3rd Hunt

I got a call from my Pirate's Apprentice, Chris at 12:30 today. "Could we still go hunting this afternoon", he asked. He was supposed to call me this morning but had been out with some of his mates until 4:30 drinking and sounds badly hungover.(Ah, to be 30 again) I'd been busy all morning anyway so I said "sure, drop by around 2:00 and we'll hit Horseshoe Bay".
Chris was right on time and already in his wetsuit and wearing a pirate T-shirt, you just got love that kind of enthusiasm!
It was sunny but cool and I hit the water first to scout out where the targets were for Chris, while Chris worked a nice cut in the wet sand. It took me half an hour to find the hot spot and I managed a nice little .925 ring with multicolour stones like an eternity band so I called to Chris and I swapped him my Excal for the ACE250.
I did a spin down the wetsand but there wasn't much happening there as I'd left Chris working the prime area with the cut in it. Two you Chiquitas in bikinis walked by but that was the most exciting part with the wetsand.(RIP, they were too young for me to be taking pics, sorry)
Chris managed a little bit of clad with an Irish 1 Euro Cent being the only interesting piece.
I snagged the .925 ring and a junker earring plus a little clad and some newer bullets.
A nice day to be out hunting and not bad for 2 hours work.

Cheers All,

BDA

WTG! In my book any day on the beach would be considered a good day!

Hey BDA sounds like a good hunt to me. Nise 925 ring is a good way to spend the day. Sounds like Chris is for sure hooked! Teach him well and he will be a full pirate before you know it, Beale.
