Default Visiting FL soon

I'll be visiting FL in a couple weeks, and I was wondering - is my 1266 going to do ok in the wet sand? Dry sand?

I only used a Fisher 1265 once on the beach a loooong time ago... it's not really a beach-machine, but since I'm there, I wanna give it a shot...

I would think any detector will work if it picks up coins and jewelry.

If I can get an ACE250 to work in the salt water and wetsand you should be able to at least hunt the dry and the wet sand. Just remember to play with the sensitivity until it stops falsing at the end of the swing and try to feather your swing at the end.

Cheers,

BDA
Buster and E. can show you the ropes, for sure.

Default Beach hunting

It should do fine. Just don't drop it in any water. Enjoy your self. I'm going in April to the big hunt at Daytona... Let us know what you find..

We're gonna be in Sarasota - not sure that's too close to y'all, but yes, that would be nice!
