Default Got Some Gold Today - This Ones a Real Gusher!

My Princess came down with some sort of virus on Sunday and has been at home sick ever since while I play Florence Nightingale. Hopefully, she'll be on the mend soon as I have to get back to work tomorrow.
After putting her to bed for her nap this afternoon I slipped into my wetsuit and headed down to my beach for a hunt. Yesterdau, Pris got me to thinking that I hadn't found any gold lately (2 weeks ago today) so I suddenly had the hunger for some gold loot again. Old stuff is great but every once in a while a pirate just wants to look into the bottom of his scoop and see the warm, yellow glow of GOLD!
Conditions were good and the first thing I heard in my headphones was the scratchy note of a pull tab, still, it could be gold but I knew it would be so I dug it up anyway; sure enough pulltab! At least there's now one less of them to find next time.
Things were pretty quiet at my beach as I've hunted it pretty hard over the last 2 years but I had a good feeling about this hunt. After 10 minutes of absolutely nothing I heard a low foil tone and thought maybe I had something, and there in the bottom of my scoop after a bit of digging was a Gold Oil Derrick! An unusual find and it appears to be 24k so probably Saudi Arabian as they like their gold pure.
The rest of the hour long hunt was pretty uneventful, a bit of clad, a golfball, an old glass soda marble and an old iron ship's spike (heavily encrusted in the back row).

Thanks for the Reminder Pris, Pirates are Supposed to Hunt for Gold!

Cheers,

BDA
