Good point bda, the one I have has an aluminum sleeve that slips inside and the screws go through that, it's a very tight fit, and should last me forever, I should have saved a few bucks and gotten the one piece, everywhere I usually go I drive so really didn't need the 2 piece, I only had it apart once.

Another thing I did once vacation was over was to rinse it out thoroughly with clean water and spray it with good ole WD-40, inside and out.
