I went back to the public beach where I found the necklace on Wednesday. Had a feeling there was more to find.

There was a lass lying in a bikini, her feet pointing straight out to sea. I set down my gear about 40 feet away and headed out in the same direction with my back to her.

I got a hit as I was walking out to the area I wanted to hunt. Less than 10 minutes and I found the ring on the right. (The diamond tested positive after I got home.)

The bikini girl had turned left to talk to her boyfriend so I turned 90 degrees to the left!

About 3 minutes later, out came the rectangular Aquamarine ring with 2 small diamonds (Also tested positive!)!

And yes, lightning can strike twice!

The rest of the hunt was mainly clad and I turned back towards shore to recover my gear and head home.

Just before I left, a young woman asked if I could look for her boyfriends ring. It was gold with his name and she had tossed it into a wave as a result of an argument. I guess they made up because now she wanted to find it.

I looked for 20 minutes but had no luck in the area she pointed out to me. I took their information just in case I run across it.

Terrific Hunt, Steve! It looks like your season has started already, Congrats! I'm still a month away from the season kicking off here but your finds are certainly an inspiration.

Cheers Mate,

BDA
I'm going to have to try your bikini theory, once they start showing up in force.

Nice find's Steve,I even think the shell is pretty cool ! I think I need to test your bikini theory out for myself.I think there could be variables we'r not seeing yet.For example you may want to factor in the color of the bikini, bikini wearer's measurments etc.

Good Point, Rip. Is it the bigger the bikini the bigger the find or is this an inversely proportional relationship??
