Congratulations bda, a little extra spending money is always nice! I used to consider myself a winner if I didn't lose more than $100 .

My Luck from last weekend continues to hold. Two short one hour hunts have produced clad and a few curiousities but no gold or silver. My luck at cards is still good though. At a pig roast yesterday I picked up $975 in winnings at the poker table which more than offsets my poor showing so far this weekend with the Excal.
Trying to get out for a proper hunt today before the last of three parties this weekend, wish me luck.

Just so long as it's Poker, I'm your Ace Boy. Those games of chance at the casinos where the odds are stacked in the house's favour, Not For Me. I don't mind renting a seat at a table that I can engage in a game of skill at but betting against the odds is not something I choose to do. I occassionally 'play the ponies' just for fun and a nights entertainment but that's it, Gotta be Poker, any variation, but Always Poker.
