Default todays spot.....a real jewel

From the land of the Bluenose...this is perhaps the busiest fresh water beach in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Located in Halifax's twin city Dartmouth this lake once hosted the World's Junior Paddling Championship and has a long history of useage. The swishing area is large and goes out for quite a ways and is all sand. Lifeguards here are friendly and enjoy having a swisher rid the bottom of dangerous material. Two problems do exsist for swishers here (actually ran into Arnie here one day one of only a handful of other water swishers in the province) and that being the children from the "inner city" and water quality as every year this beach is closed due to the itch. Recall the last ring I took out of here... an 18k men's bloodstone...a beauty!

Not to leave out land digging, have found Vickie silver here as well as across the lake in a wooded park, a USA Lemon drop hard times token, a mountain bike and once a full case of Keiths unopened (kids must have hid it there...not Bud but beggers can't be choosey) which was opened quickly when this bouy got home.

Look like a swisher's paradise in the warm weather months
