Welcome! I would also say that the skill and experience of the user is a least as important as the quality of the equipment. So practice using and become familiar with any detector you have.

My first was a Cobra, now have a minelab excal 1000. The cobra missed a lot of loot that I later recovered with my excal. BUt the good news is, It's got you started and before you know it you'll be hooked and moving on to a new machine. Where riches await you!!!! Well at least getting out aand enjoying yourself!!!!
