Default South America

Hi all, wondering if anyone has any experience with beaches on the west coast of S. America (or anything nearby). Going down there for work for a few weeks and i'm wondering if it's worth bringing the Seahunter. I'm really looking for experiences with regulations and safety. Thanks!

King Bee, no direct experience but be very very careful. The rules as to where, if you can detect are not always clear. Also what you can keep for yours and have to turn over as there's can be a bit complicated, depends on exactly where your planning to hunt. Contact a travel agent or local official to be sure.
Some areas have rules like if it's valued over X or older than Y it's theirs, some even offer to pay you what they deem as fair market value for the finds.
