Default CZ-21 Arrived in Bermuda Today!

I've been having a few problems with the Excal lately and she is definitely due for an overhaul so I bought a CZ-21 that was very gently used from a Good Mate of mine. It wasn't the detector for him but I have a feeling it's going to be a good detector for me. Everybody Wins on this Deal and it doesn't get much better than that. At least while my Excal is away I can learn the CZ-21 and see which one I like better.(I just hope my Excal doesn't get jealous)
Lots of new knobs to turn and sounds to understand so it should be fun for the next month or so until I figure out my new weapon; its' strengths, its' weakness and its' language.

Cheers,

BDA

A Mate of mine in Hawaii who only uses the CZ20/21 (basically the same unit really) swears that the CZ will leave the Excal in the dust. Perhaps in Hawaii with its' basalt sand but on the pink beaches of Bermuda I think it will be even steven. We've bantered back in forth over this issue by e-mail for quite a while so I can finally put the CZ to the test. Ken bought an Excal 6 months ago and hates it but this proves nothing to this loyal Excal user.
Ken has a lot of loot but he's been doing this a long time and has been a diver for most of his life and is one seriously tenacious pirate. It's the only time I've seen a goldfish bowl full of Platinum Rings and aquarium tanks full of gold and silver rings.

Time to Start the Test,

BDA

I have faith in the Excal, Mate. The CZ-21 is a new challenge is all. I haven't decide whether to keep running the Excal till the coil fails or send it in right away. It will depend upon how much I like the CZ-21.
Odd to be at the bottom of the learning curve again.

Cheers Mate,

BDA
