Default Saturday in the All Water Mode

Decided to get fully in the water this weekend..On Saturday,I started on base at the beach area..lots of water..Got out up to my chest level...I was remembering all the info that I had received..Thanks BDA...As I was looking out behind me I saw 2 large shapes a ways off..they had fins and the were moving in and out of the water...I just kept a going anyway...The water was murky but I did find some coins...I then moved on to the next beach down the road and found a few...Toward the 9AM mark, I decided to leave the base and hit the Eglin Air Force Base Beach Club on the surf side...I got in, but the waves were really wild and high, Got knocked around some then decided to head to the house,,On the way out a big wave got me from behind and knocked me over...That was it for that hunt...Take on this hunt was...1 Quarter, 1dime, 1 nickel, 1 penny, and 1 silver looking earing..all from the water...This will take a few times to get the hang of water hunting....Buster.....

When you post your first gold it will look easy but the doing is not easy. Surf hunting is hard but rewarding work, that's why there are so few surf pirates.
Be aware that sharks follow scent and vibrations patterns from behind. If you see fins and dark shapes approaching from behind move out of the water, Mate.

WTG Buster, sound like your heading in the right direction, I bet water hunting is harder, keep at it.

My Mate, Besco thought he was being followed by a dolphin at Clearwater Beach. Turns out that it was a 9 to 10 foot Tiger Shark, it sure gave him the willies when he was the last one out of the water and a guy told him that he was either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid. Swimming with the sharks is a dicey proposition at best.

Be Careful Out There,

BDA
