I pulled one small PMO out of the water with my scoop today but that's all I saw. They do give a bad sting if you are unfortunate enough to rub up against one.

BDA bad sting?? man you have a gift for understatement! A girl I met got zapped by one, the scars are still visible and the encounter is a year old.
If you spot a blue/purple box shape stay outside the four to five foot strike of em.
One of the guys at work surfs as a hobby, he was hit by a globe one day, allot milder than a MOW but still nothing to mess with, anyway he said he had his friends pee on him and it didn't take it away. I did have to ask if he was a good friend but he knew what I was up to.
