Praying that all goes well there!! Maybe it will blow the island closer to the U.S. coast and you can hunt with Buster and "E" or someone farther up the eastern coast. Maybe you will end up back in Canada!! Whatever happens I pray that all goes well for you!

While living at Satellite Beach in Florida, We all but evacuated 5 or 6 time due to Hurricanes in route.

One day we had a Tropical Storm (Less Then 75 mph winds ). It cut the beach back 200 ft. Did more damage then the 6 Hurricanes put together.

You've probably been in as many close calls as I (we're nearly exactly the same age) so no need to caution you to be safe....instead, pour a nice snifter of brandy, light up a good Cubano, put your feet up and wait for morning with the Excal polished-up and ready to go!

Good fortune, my friend!

The forecasters project that Hurricane Bertha will pass 200 miles east of Bermuda on Sunday IF it makes a hard right turn in the next 48 hours. If the right turn doesn't happen then Bertha will hit Bermuda pretty much dead on.
I've been home sick with the flu these last two days so I've been monitoring Bertha's track and it is still on a collision course with BDA. Let's all hope that the forecasters get it right this time or it's got to be a VERY INTERESTING weekend in Bermuda. Hurricane Bertha is currently a CAT3 hurricane which would mean some serious damage to Bermuda if it maintains strength and makes a direct hit.

Cheers All,

Here's what Bertha looks like at the moment, she's the red pinwheel in the upper right of the pic. The little black dot between Bertha and New York is Bermuda, actually the island is a lot smaller but the dot is made bigger so you can see where Bermuda is.
Winds are back up to 115 mph, this could be a rocky one. All the white and red areas are areas of heavy storm activity so it's pretty busy everywhere for weather forecasters at the moment.

Cheers,
