Default HELP Florida Bound!.....

Hi all......
Just wondering if anyone has detected the Gulf Coast of Florida....need
any info on detecting the beaches from Sarasota and south to Naples.....
which are good beaches?.....any with old shipwrecks offshore?.....I am leaving
this Friday (May 20) for 2 weeks with wife and detector in hand......This is a
long and needed vacation.....so I am going to relax and also try my luck....
any input would be appreciated.......thanks and HH....Bakie7253

Friend of mine detected a place by the name of Holmes Beach.
Not sure where it is.
You might do a search.

He did quite well from what I remember.

There are plenty of shipwrecks offshore as htere are here in texas.
The Gulf is full of wrecks.
Just a matter of getting to them.

Bakie, i grew up on the west coast in a little town ( at the time ) called Englewood as a kid and do know all along the beach there would be good.also Venice beach would be a good hunt.that is just north of Englewood. all the beaches in that area would be good. tourists all over the place losing all kinds of things im sure !! Good luck on your hunting and enjoy your time down there.
